Departmental Publications Templates
UT Extension specialists may need to publish some information without the peer review process. These publications are called departmental publications, or D pubs.
Two templates have been created to facilitate these publications and can be downloaded from the links below.
Departmental publications should be submitted to the Office of Marketing and Communications for editorial review before being posted online.
The UT Extension Publications Manual defines a departmental publication as a small, online-only publication, fact sheet or other material produced by departmental specialists. These are usually one to three pages front and back.
4-H Lesson Plan Template
4-H lesson plans are web-only Extension publications written by Extension specialists or agents for use in Extension club meetings and other educational settings. Authors may use the supplied lesson plan template to expedite peer review and for submission to the Office of Marketing and Communications.
